Profile PEI started as a 15 minute short film made by Jeremy Larter and Adam Perry back in January of 2008. It screened at The Centred Screening Series at The Guild in Charlottetown to a great response. The first 7 episodes of Profile PEI come from the original short film. With pressure from Scott Gallant to develop Profile PEI into a weekly web series, the Profile team starting to make a new episode each week until July of 2008. In March of 2008 Profile PEI received national recognition when it was plugged on CBC Radio's program, 'Q' by Mio Adilman. Profile PEI has been watched in 70 countries around the world. After an almost year long hiatus, Season 2 started on May 25th, 2009.
Profile PEI is created each week by the blood, sweat and tears from the cast and crew. Our equipment is generously donated by The Island Media Arts Co-op and Uberloo International. Financial assistance for Season 2 from The Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts.
